**Additional knowledge** lets your team top up the chatbot's knowledge base directly. When the chatbot declines a question that it should have answered, you can supply the missing information yourself, without waiting for a website crawl.

Major Features
--------------

### Additional knowledge

The chatbot answers only from its knowledge base, so a question about a topic that your website does not cover is returned as a blocked response. Additional knowledge closes that gap: write the answer once, as a short entry with a heading and content, and the chatbot draws on it from that point on.

Conversations also flag blocked responses clearly, and you can suggest a new entry directly from the conversation in which the gap appeared.

Minor Features
--------------

#### Key metrics lead the reporting dashboard

The default reporting view opens with **Total conversations** and **Total messages** as the leading metrics, followed by the other conversation widgets. Chatbots that already have a customised layout retain it.

#### Cloudflare-protected websites can be crawled

Websites behind Cloudflare's browser verification (the "Just a moment…" check) can now be included in the knowledge base. Their pages are crawled and kept up to date in the same way as any other site.

Fixes
-----

- A message appears when you export conversations, confirming that the export is underway. *Learn more about [exporting conversation data](/articles/exporting-conversation-data).*
- The tab listing the pages that an answer drew on is labelled **References**.
- The chat window logo displays every time the widget opens, including when it opens automatically.
- Website crawls sync their content to the knowledge base reliably, with temporary indexing errors retried automatically.
