Customising your dashboard layout Customising your dashboard layout ================================= Updated 1 month ago · 3 min read Search Search The default dashboard is a starting point. You can add the widgets that matter to your team, remove the ones that do not, and arrange them so the important numbers are at the top. The layout is shared. Each chatbot has one dashboard layout and everyone with access to that bot sees the same one, so moving or removing a widget changes it for your whole team, not just for you. Open your chatbot's **Report** page. 2. Click the **Add new widget** button, the plus icon at the top right. 3. Pick the widget you want from the **Select a widget type** list, adjust its settings if you need to, and click **Save**. The full set is described in [Reporting widget reference](/articles/reporting-widget-reference). 4. Click **Save changes** in the notice that appears at the top of the page. Remove a widget --------------- 1. Find the widget on the dashboard. 2. Click the menu button in the widget's header and choose **Remove**. 3. Click **Save changes** in the notice at the top of the page. Resize and reorder ------------------ Drag a widget by its header to move it. To resize one, click the menu button in its header, choose **Edit** and pick a **Size**, from a third of the page's width up to full width. Put the numbers you check most often at the top, where they are visible without scrolling. Wider widgets suit charts, which need the horizontal room to be readable. Because the layout is shared, it resets for your whole team, so agree it with them first, the same as any other layout change. Nothing is lost --------------- Changing the layout only changes what is displayed. It does not alter, delete or reset any underlying data. Remove a widget by mistake and you can add it straight back, with all its history intact. That makes the layout safe to experiment with, as long as your colleagues know it is changing.
